How To Program Ecolite HO Receiver with an OT 300 Transmitter

Below is a guide to programming your pet's receiver using an OT 300 transmitter.

Programming:

1. Note the number that you see on the LED display of your transmitter.

2. Put the OT 300 transmitter into programming mode by pushing and holding down the top and bottom buttons at the same time.  The number "10" will appear on the display, indicating that you are in programming mode.

3. There are 8 categories: 10, 20, 30...80.  We are going to go through each category and select a setting and then jump to the next category.  The process is the same in each category, so you become familiar with the sequence after completing a few categories.

4. You are always going to end up starting with the middle button (to edit) and ending with the middle button (to set).

Frequency (Setting 10)
5. Push the middle button.  Your display will go to 11 - press the top button twice until the display goes to 13, then push the middle button to set  - the display goes to 20

Warning Time (Setting 20)
6. Push the middle button.  Your display will go to 21 - press the top button once until the display goes to 22 - push the middle button to set - display goes to 30

Warning Time Options:
21 - No warning
22 - 1/2 second warning
23 - 1 second warning
24 - 2 second warning

Stimulation Level (30)
7. Push the middle button.  Your display will go to 31 - press the top button three times until the display goes to 34 - push the middle button to set - display goes to 40

Stimulation Level Options:
31 - Low
32 - Medium-Low
33 - Medium-High
34 - High
38 - No Shock
39 - Puppy Mode Engaged (See 80 setting)

Progressive Duration (40)
8. Push the middle button once.  Your display will go to 41 - press the middle button to set - display goes to 50

Battery Saving (50)
9. Push the middle button once.  Your display will go to 51 - press the top button once until the display goes to 54 - Press the middle button to set - the display goes to 60

Modulation (60)
10. Push the middle button once.  Your display will go to 61 - press the middle button to set - display goes to 70 

Stopper Mode (70)
11. Push the middle button once - display goes to 71 - press the middle button to set - display goes to 80

Stopper Mode Options:
71 - Stopper disabled
72 - 2 seconds
73 - 4 seconds
74 - 6 seconds

* This is for stubborn dogs, it will give the correction non-stop for the allotted time selected. 

Puppy Training Mode (80)
12. Push the middle button once.  Your display will go to 81 - press the middle button to set - display goes to 90

Puppy Mode Options:
This has settings from 1-9, a more gentle way of introducing a puppy to the system. This setting is only triggered if setting 39 has been set.

Review Settings (90)
13. Category 90 is a review mode, telling you the settings that you have entered.  The process is the same. Press the middle button and the display will go to 13; repeatedly touch the top button and it will cycle through the settings showing you: 13,22,34,41,54,61,71,81, (99) 

Pairing (99)
14. 99 means the transmitter is ready to send the settings to the collar. Touch the middle button and the 99 will flash; while the 99 is flashing, hold your receiver up to the transmitter and you will see the red light on your receiver (collar) come on - when the red light is on, press the middle button on the transmitter and it will start transmitting the programming to the collar.

You will see and hear a series of beeps and flashes come out of the collar. Once the beeping and flashing have stopped, that means the collar is programmed. If for some reason, the red light does not come on right away, press the middle button again to get the 99 flashing and repeat the process.

15. You can now wait a few minutes, and the transmitter will go back to the original number that was on your display when you started.  To speed this reset up, you can unplug the transmitter and then plug it back in, and the display will show you the original number.  

16. Test your receiver by holding it up to the transmitter, and it will beep; this beeping will indicate that the reprogramming has been successful. As a double check, you can walk out to the boundary and make sure that the collar beeps at the edge of the signal field.
